Building for what comes next.
Selinger Health grows from a personal connection to West Virginia and a belief that people across the state deserve care that feels clear, respectful, and dependable.

Healthcare should feel personal because the people and places it serves are personal.
Tyrese Selinger grew up in Fayetteville, West Virginia. That experience shaped his understanding of the state’s close-knit communities, its resilience, and the challenges people can face when trying to access consistent, understandable care.
Tyrese attended Marshall University before earning both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from West Virginia University. As he prepares for family nurse practitioner board certification, he is developing Selinger Health around a simple idea: patients should feel heard, prepared, respected, and confident about what happens next.
The intention is to listen across West Virginia, learn from its communities, and develop Selinger Health only when the organization is clinically and operationally ready to keep its promises.

A note from Tyrese
“I want to build the kind of healthcare experience I would want for my own family—one where people understand the plan and know they have not been forgotten.”
Selinger Health is still an early concept. Listening comes before launching, and every future commitment must be supported by the people, systems, and standards needed to keep it.
